THE WANDERER'S WIND
The Wanderer's Wind is the prequel to Cat's Eye. There has been some confusion amongst readers as to just what that means - it's a book written after the first book yet takes place before it. In this case, The Wanderer's Wind takes place a long time before Cat's Eye, at the beginning of the War of the Races. Basically it covers the events that led up to the war, and also follows the adventures of Kaelyn the Wanderer. A better summary is posted below. The first version of The Wanderer's Wind is completely finished and about 21 chapters long, but I am in the process of editing it so if you see a slight change between the first three chapters and the rest of the book, that's simply because I am in the process of fixing some things. However, the story does hold together, so please enjoy it and feel free to critique as you wish. Warning: The Wanderer's Wind contains major spoilers for Cat's Eye, so please only read it if you have completely finished Cat's Eye or if you just don't care that you're ruining the first story. Political intrigue has brought the races to each others throats, and a man sits in the shadows bringing the races closer and closer to a war that could destroy them all. Kaelyn is a girl trapped in these times of change, and is brought deep into the conspiracy when her mother's merchant train is viciously slaughtered. She's the only one left alive to spread the truth of what is happening. Guided by the wind goddess, Noscere, and aided by the sacred weapons, can she prevent a war that could completely change the world? Author's Note: Don't be a stranger!
