Lorea is haunted by a mysterious power that manifests at random. Feared by others, she has taken to living alone in the woods, with no knowledge of her past or where she comes from. That all changes when a wounded man appears on her doorstep. She is compelled to save his life, even though he is an escaped prisoner and looks downright criminal.
Dante is more than just a criminal. He's a spy, imprisoned for years in the fortress of an evil Queen and tortured beyond recognition. Now he must return to his King with dire news, and a prophecy that could change the fate of the entire kingdom. Too bad everyone thinks he is dead....
Now Lorea and Dante must flee to escape the grasp of an evil Queen, and unravel the secrets of an ominous prophecy could kill them both.
