Theresa Shreffler was born in California, grew up in Washington State, and now currently is again living in Los Angeles. She was born on September 30, 1988 and is currently enrolled in community college. Her everyday life consists of going to classes, reading, and dicking around on the computer with numerous art and writing programs. Her hobbies are writing, reading, drawing, composing music, playing the piano and drums (not at the same time), and meeting new people from around the world... online. While reading, Tryst's favorite authors consist of Brian Jacques, J. K. Rowling, Kristen Britain, Tamora Pierce, Garth Nix, and Dan Brown.

Theresa began writing in sixth grade and her first work (also the most rewritten) is the novel Cat's Eye. In the future she has absolutely no idea what to do with her life, but she has heard that this is a common trait of people her age, so she isn't duly concerned.
